1st Day

Negombo to Anuradhapura

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Today, you will be transferred to Anuradhapura. On the way, get an up-close look at the seaside city of Negombo on on a guided sightseeing tour. See the Negombo fish market, and St.Mary’s Church.

Enjoy a Wilpattu National Park safari and witness the stunning wildlife of Sri Lanka up close.

2nd Day

Sightseeing of Anuradhapura 

Anuradhapura is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in history and spirituality. See the sacred temples and monuments that make this city so unique.

Throughout the day, we split our tour of Anuradhapura into two parts, one in the morning and one in the evening.

3rd Day

Anuradhapura to Trincomalee

Head out to Wilpattu and stop in Kanniya Hot Water Springs in Trincomalee. Experience rejuvenating and peaceful experience in the warm waters and let your worries melt away.

4th Day

Sightseeing tour of Trincomalee

Enter the Pigeon Island, an iconic island which offers crystal clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and a chance to spot exotic marine life.

Then visit to Koneswaram Hindu Temple in Trincomalee is a stunning example of ancient Sri Lankan architecture.

5th Day

Trincomalee to Sigiriya/Dambulla  

Step into Dambulla Cave Temple, a rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka. Admire the stunning frescoes and sculptures that adorn the temple’s walls and ceilings

Then, enter Minneriya National Park for a Safari. Get an up-close encounter with some adorable elephants and other animal species.

6th Day

Sigiriya to Pasikudah

Set off for your next adventure of the tour, climbing Sigiriya Lion Rock. It’s definitely worth it. It can be moderately difficult climb to the top but the views from there are just stunning.

En route to Pasikudah, get yourself to Polonnaruwa Ancient City and look for the ruins of statues that are significant religiously and culturally. Polonnaruwa is an ancient kingdom that was once a center of power and culture in Sri Lanka. Explore its ruins and learn about its significance in the region’s history.

Beach therapy at Pasikudah

8th Day

Pasikudah to Arugam Bay

Depart Pasikudah for Arugam Bay. Go on a lagoon tour in the Pothuvil Lagoon, a popular journey that cruises across the serene waters of the wildlife-rich lagoon.

Set off to Crocodile rock, this too, serves as a great surf escape as Arugam Bay. Visit Panama Lagoon in the evening to catch a gorgeous sunset.

Ella to Nuwara Eliya

Hop on the train from Ella to Nanu Oya and witness the stunning tea plantations, waterfalls, and misty mountains of Sri Lanka.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and make stops to see the British-built red brick post office and Gregory Lake.

Nuwara Eliya to Kandy

Today’s adventure takes us to the breathtaking Horton Plains National Park in Sri Lanka for an unforgettable Hiking & Trekking experience. Make a stop at Tea factory and Estate in Nuwara Eliya.

Attend a Kandy Cultural dance show and enjoy your evening.

14th Day

Kandy to Colombo

Step into the Temple of the Tooth, where Gautama Buddha’s left canine tooth is enshrined. 

Visit the Royal Botanic Gardens at Peradeniya. Orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees are just a few of the more than four thousand plant species represented in the garden.

Leave Kandy for Colombo, on your way stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Departure
